Epidemic Music Group (EMG) is an artist development, promotion team and independent record label with roots in the GTA. With a proven team of promoters, producers, managers, publicists and designers who can assist in the development of artists and bands as well as events requiring live entertainment.

We currently host two community driven open mics; The Markham Village Open mic is entering its fifth year and is the longest running live music event in the city of Markham. The Earl’s Open Stage in Stouffville is well into its third year, it has been featured on CBC television and is frequented by Canadian rock and roll royalty.

EMG has played a massive role in recent years of The Markham Village Music Festival. In 2013 we introduced a brand new grassroots stage focusing on original music. The stage has grown exponentially and is now a focal point of the festival. In this years festival (2015), EMG will be heavily involved with the entertainment across all of the stages. We also curate the entertainment for Stouffville’s Harvest Fest as well as Summerfest.
